LEARNING OBJECTIVES
- Be competent in anatomical terminology
- Understand the skeletal System including bone structure and function and how it relates to Pilates
- Demonstrate knowledge in joints and joint movement including the shoulder, rib cage, elbow, wrist, hip, pelvis, knee, and ankle/foot joints
- Understand muscle structure and functions
- Understand how exercise relates to the musculoskeletal, cardiorespiratory, endocrine, digestive and nervous system
