The initial phase of this course includes videos of each of the exercises you will be learning to help you become familiar with muscle activation and cues and the reformer orientation.
This phase also requires the completion of a multiple-choice examination.
You'll complete this segment, totalling 30 hours, prior to joining the 4-day practical course.

On the last day of the course there will be a practical examination.
Once you have completed the course you will be provided with a certificate and will also need first aid, CPR and insurance to start teaching.
No. The Reformer Pilates Academy highly recognised courses equips you to become a certified Pilates instructor in Australia and internationally without the need for government accreditation.
Our training is recognised by the industry, ensuring you can work and be insured as an instructor.
Upon completion of your course, you will be a Certified Instructor in the style you trained in (Pilates Mat or Reformer).
There is no Australian or global regulatory or governing body for Pilates, so you can start teaching as soon as you complete your course and get insurance. To get insurance, you will need your Pilates Certificate, first aid and CPR.

No, the Mat work Course is the prerequisite to Reformer ONLY if you want to teach Mat and Reformer. You will not be a qualified Mat teacher once completing the Reformer component. You will only be a Reformer Pilates Instructor

Today, Georgia is the proud owner of a Women's Health Physiotherapy Clinic and also teaches within the physiotherapy program at Griffith University.
